How does the Depigmentation System Work?
The Depigmentation System combines skin-lightening agents such as Hydroquinone to help exfoliate and promote skin renewal. This is especially effective in treating dark spots caused by melasma. Specifically, Hyroquinone inhibits the activity of Tyrosinase (an enzyme involved in the melanin formation process). As a result, dark spots are lightened and skin tone appears more even.
Results Visible From The First Treatment
The number of treatments required depends on the specific condition being treated as well as results desired. The depigmentation system is recommended in a series of 1-2 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart.Â
